Social media is the most effective marketing channel.

This is because you can target the eyeballs that see your ad. Billboards and TV commercials see the eyes of everyone, but an Instagram/Facebook ad can be purposefully put in front of already-motivated buyers. If you have a type of shoe that millennials are wearing, then display that ad on the news feeds of 24-30 year-olds living in the big cities and watch your conversion rates rise.
