Don’t talk in a scripted way.

Humans can easily detect who is being a phony and who is not. This is something we must take into consideration when we’re in meetings, on sales calls, and presenting to clients. Above any piece of advice you’ve ever received, always remember that being yourself is the top priority.

On today’s episode of The Tai Lopez Show, we are discussing how to be natural in business meetings. With all the material we read on how to close the deal, it’s difficult to remember to be yourself. Today, we reinforce this lesson by stressing the importance of adapting yourself by recognizing who is on the other side of table.

Points to Keep In Mind

  • Walk 4-6 miles a day
  • Don’t sound fake when talking
  • Use the P.A.S.E. System (Practical, Action, Social, Emotional) to read people’s personality types and adapt accordingly
    • Practical - slow, accountant-types, think before they speak
    • Action - speak aggressively, say what you want, not easily offended
    • Social - those who believe social chit chat is most important
    • Emotional - introverted, not very talkative to strangers
  • Get people’s phone number; e-mails are going extinct
